Life Coaching Reviews

"It was through my research on embodiment and the erotic that I came across Jo’s work, particularly her early writings on the topic. There was a rigour in these ideas, a poetry, curiosity and passion for a way of thinking that is often marginalised. I saw familiar voices and ideas animated, carried forward in new constellations. The most enlivening part of reading is the transformation it brings and the connections between people it can engender. I didn’t know that I was looking for a coach when I first thought about reaching out to Jo. I sought a conversation in what I felt was a shared space. When Jo did become my coach, we never left that space. In it, so much resonated: things known to us, things unavailable to us, things from our past, two rich lives, things that were new us, things we were seeking. What made our work so strong was that there were transformations in both of us. A tremendous sense of mutual respect, compassion and empathy. I felt we were both affected by the work we did in equal measure, without ever abandoning the clarity and support structure of a professional relationship. This I found to be the greatest strength in Jo’s approach. I needed agency, but I also needed guidance, and be a disciple. I needed that shared intellectual horizon to draw an arc across everything, as a distinction. It gave me an opening to find an energy for which I have no words, and took me to unseen places. I am not the same. I think this is rare." Joseph Kohlmaier, July 2026.

"Jo is such a wonderful coach!! I'm an HSP* and there are many coaching and therapeutic approaches that simply do not work for me. But I absolutely LOVED working with Jo, she is attuned, present and warm. She doesn't pretend to know what's 'wrong' or how to fix it. In fact, I never felt like something was wrong or needed fixing - she validated my experiences, which I have a tendency to dismiss, so that was an additional bonus I took away from our work - learning to trust my deeper knowing. I've done coaching before and I'm familiar with the post-coaching low I would sometimes experience, where I would feel everything was great only to find myself struggling again with the same issues a month later. It has been 5 months since our work together and I can confidently say - I didn't experience the low. A lot of internal (and external) changes have taken place since and they're grounded in my being for which I will be eternally grateful ♥️ I think having experience in both more traditional and spiritual modalities (and everything in between) made Jo a highly attuned practitioner, able to help us find a way back to our heart. I literally could not recommend her enough. " Ms RT May 2026
