Coaching Approach
My approach to coaching neurodivergent and highly sensitive adults draws on my own lived experience as a neurodistinct person, and my professional trainings in positive psychology coaching, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and transpersonal coaching psychology. Find out more about me by taking a look at my author profile.
I have two practice areas: neuroaffirming academic coaching for students, researchers and career academics; and neuroaffirming coaching for adults navigating work, relationships, and other challenges in a neurotypical world.
- Neuroaffirming academic coaching is based on a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to equip clients with the skills needed to overcome their specific challenges, including executive function issues, time management, and emotional regulation to ensure clients achieve their goals. You can read a sample of reviews here.
- Neuroaffirming life coaching is client-centred and paced according to clients’ needs. Sessions can include grounding, strengths building, values clarification, and parts work to explore barriers to authenticity and cultivate self-leadership. You can read a recent recommendation here.
All my coaching clients receive a legally binding contract detailing my confidentiality policy, fees, cancellation policy, and my ethical code as an IACTM accredited coach. Concessionary rates and payment plans are also available.
