Jo Nash- editor, writer, and writing coach

43 Chamberwell Ave. Cambridge, England

I have over 17 years professional editing experience. I have also written numerous articles, research papers, a novel, and coached many writers to the completion of their projects.

I am a native English speaking editor and writer with a PhD in Psychotherapy Studies awarded by the University of Sheffield in the UK. I am also trained in a range of mindfulness-based interventions, including MBCT, MBSR and ACT. The ACT approach is a practical mindfulness-based coaching intervention which trains the mind to overcome challenges that block us from achieving our goals. ACT does not require a meditation practice and my unique ACT coaching course for writers can be completed in just eight sessions spread over four to eight weeks.

I have edited thousands of published papers and articles written by a range of academic researchers, politicians, business chiefs and other copy writers for whom English is a second language. I am a professional member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders in London, UK, and the Freelancers Union, USA.

I have travelled widely, having lived and worked in the UK, India, Sri Lanka and Mexico.
