Jo has worked as an academic editor to ESL academic researchers
worldwide since 2012, offering both copy editing and substantive editing to ESL academics wishing to publish their work in peer reviewed journals. Jo has a range of international clients from Japan, Korea, China and India.
Jo trained in the mindfulness- based interventions ACT, MBCT, and MBSR in the UK, and is an avid student of the wisdom of Nisagadatta Maharaj .
She divides her time between Europe and India.
After gaining her PhD, Jo Nash worked as a Lecturer in Mental Health for the University of Sheffield from 1998-2011.
She then became Honorary Faculty for three years at Sri Lanka International Buddhist Academy, the Higher Education project of Sri Dalada Maligawa, (the Temple of the Buddha’s Tooth), Kandy, Sri Lanka, from 2011 to 2014.
Most recently Jo was an Honorary Lecturer in Child Psychology at the American College of Higher Education in Kandy for 6 months, where she trained teachers in cuturally sensitive approaches to understanding child development.
Jo also served as Section Editor for the Encyclopaedia of Psychology and Religion
in the USA from 2011-2014.
